Well what do you know, it seems Thom Yorke and Flea are a match made in heaven. While some defended the pairing last week and others raged about it, Thom got on with it and took to the stage in LA at the weekend and pulled something special out of the bag. Read more about it and watch some footage at our news story.

While you're there, don't forget to vote for The Greatest Live Band Ever and join us in scratching our heads at the state of some aged former pop stars.

Meanwhile we were chuffed to see our favourite festival (Glastonbury of course) sell out within minutes this week. We can't wait for next June. To mark the occasion we're revealing 50 Things You Never Knew About Glastonbury on the site.

For festival thrills this month, though, we recommend the Swn Festival in Cardiff, which takes place from Oct 22-24. To mark the weekend Radio 1's Huw Stephens is taking over the Daily Download blog all this week and giving away two new tracks a day.
