So you might have noticed but it's been a Kasabian empire at NME this week. The band came in for a visit recently and we've been broadcasting a three-part interview, plus there's a gallery from the day, Serge picking his top music and more. Plus NME TV are screening a weekend of Kasabian shows, so be sure to tune in to Sky Channel 382.

Another big band dropping by for a chat this week were The Dead Weather. They were at NME Radio to announce a very special Halloween gig this weekend. Watch the video of the interview here and be sure to tune in to NME Radio live tomorrow night to hear the gig in full.

On the Daily Download blog we're giving away a track by a secretive band called Silver Columns. We can't reveal too much about their identity right now, but let's just say they're household names. So head over to download the track and have a guess who they are and also pick up free MP3s from gorgeous folk popsters The Antlers and fast-rising indie stars Two Door Cinema Club.

I've leave you with news that South Park's Cartman is pursuing a career as a Lady Gaga tribute act, and that Blur are the latest additions to Rock Band Lego. Until next time peeps...
