Has she or hasn't she? Speculation and conjecture are rife in the office this week as we try and decide how likely it is that Lily Allen has given up music for good. She announced this week that she won't release another album and has blamed the state of the music industry and rampant file-ripping, saying that being a pop star is just not a financially viable prospect any more.

Either way, we've taken a look at her career highlights and are inviting your thoughts on the whole thing.

Elsewhere and there's all sorts going on on NME.COM. Dizzee Rascal gives us an intimate video tour of his studio, the Daily Download has remixes of Miike Snow and Simian Mobile Disco up for grabs plus we're looking to establish the Best Live Band ever.

Oh, and if you wanted to know the hottest trend at London Fashion Week this week, it seems to be Slipknot.
