Latitude Festival: In Full
Q went festival crazy this past weekend - first up Latitude. Q's reviewer/twitterspondent Mic Wright was there to witness Thom Yorke's stunning and shock - smiling - solo set, Nick Cave "the Devil in the form of a rock band", Phoenix, Grace Jones, The Vaselines, Magazine, Pet Shop Boys and whole host more. Day-by-day reviews, tweets and Q Festival 5's interviews all here on QTheMusic.com
Lovebox Weekender
The Lovebox Weekender was our second festival stop this past weekend in London. Q went along for the Saturday and witnessed VV Brown playing to her home crowd, N*E*R*D's self requested stage invasion, Florence and her Machine being overcome by the audience response to their set and also checked out 80s pop legends, the interstingly attired and surprisingly gobby Duran Duran. Lovebox in tweets.
Current Issue: Michael Jackson
Planned and printed ahead of his comeback tour, the new issue takes a close look at the world, work and life of Michael Jackson, which tragically ended as the magazine was being distributed, making some of the observations in the feature seem eerily prophetic. View the cover, read Editor Paul Rees' statement about the issue and please avoid the online touts.
