Reading and Leeds festivals are finally upon us - which means that we're sending you this email from a portacabin juddering with the sound of thundering bass right now, backstage at Reading.

As always NME will be at both Reading and Leeds this year, bringing you the definitive coverage of the event in next week's magazine. If you can't wait until then, we'll have constant updates this weekend on NME.COM, including the web's biggest Reading and Leeds photo gallery, backstage video interviews with bands, round-the-clock news and more.

If you're heading to either site then make sure you drop by the NME Signing Tent where we'll have The Horrors, Little Boots, La Roux, The Gaslight Anthem and plenty more sat there waiting to meet you and scrawl their name on your t-shirt/face/naked body parts.

We'll have all the photos online next week too, so not only will you get to meet a genuine megastar, you'll also get to see yourself on NME.COM. Imagine that!

See you in the Silent Disco...

Radar: the best new music of the week - first
Wildbirds & Peacedrums - My Heart - Free MP3 Wildbirds & Peacedrums - My Heart - Free MP3 'My Heart' is, bizarrely, Wildbirds & Peacedrums' first ever physical single release, despite the duo having dropped two critically adored albums already. It's also a hugely powerful ode to singer Mariam Wallentin's own heart that urges it to slow down a bit (we've all been there). It comes out on September 7 via The Leaf Label.

Download Wildbirds & Peacedrums 'My Heart' on the Daily Download blog.
