So many music highlights, so little time to share them...

On NME.COM this week: Radiohead's stunning new song, Rio Ferdinand on the blower to Michael Jackson, beautifully dramatic new videos from Little Boots, Florence and Bat For Lashes, 50 genuinely disturbing album sleeves, Limp Bizkit interviewed backstage at Sonisphere, and this week's 10 Tracks You Have To Hear.

There's also the first glimpse of 2009's NME Future 50 list, lifting the lid on the half-century of musical innovators who are redefining music and moving it forwards (as in, away from The Wombats). You'll need to read the full feature in this week's NME, to allow us to justify how and why such disparate choices as Norwich, Animal Collective and Take That share the honours - or you can simply pile straight in with your opinion here.

And apropos of absolutely nothing - how funny is this?

Over and out.

Darwin Deez - The Most Likeable Hipster In The World - Free MP3 Darwin Deez - The Most Likeable Hipster In The World - Free MP3 Despite being hatefully cool, Darwin Deez makes really rather splendid music. It's brittle, plaintive, warm and breezy indie-pop recorded probably on some beaten up old dictaphone he's had since he was a kid but somehow ends up sounded totally fucking awesome. Bastard.
