It might only be January 22, but we're already starting to think about festivals. The beery haze, the endless amazing sets, the all-night sing-songs, the waking up to find a garden chair and two strangers in your tent... magic times. The only thing is, which to go for? Glasto's monsoon rave at the end of the world? Download's noisefest? Or maybe something more boutiquey?

Our festival rumours gallery should help you decide and get booking tickets early; from Rage to Muse to Green Day we've got the most likely headliners for each fest lined up in our photo special. And while you're there you might as well check out this year's Brit Awards nominations and then head to the blogs to have your say on the finalists. My personal reaction? More N-Dubz!!!!

So what else? Well the newly-designed video section is pumping out more videos than ever before: check out the special Editors live vid from Fabric, Animal Collective's bizarre masterpiece and a world exclusive, Richard Ashcroft's comeback single with new band United Nations Of Sound.

Oh, and Vice have started blogging for us. Read their ruminations on sex, drugs and all things bizarre here. L8RZ for now...

Radar: the best new music of the week - first
Sleigh Bells Sleigh Bells From mathy metalcore to playful, playground chants riding lusty, crunching tension, this lot are like Hello Kitty being brutalised by a husband/wife combo of Kathleen Hanna and Ad Rock. In other words, essential listening.

Head over to the Radar blog to download the free track, 'Crown On The Ground'.
